Great first Big-Kid Rides

Sue from Columbus, OH tells us that she is bringing her 6-year old twin girls to Walt Disney World resort for the first time since they were infants.  The Dis Kids chime in on the perfect rides for her girls to ride now that they are big girls!

  • Soarin’ at EPCOT park:  40 inch minimum height
  • Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom park:  40 inch minimum height
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom park:  38 inch minimum height

All three rides offer plenty of thrills and Disney magic for kids and parents alike!

Hollywood and Vine: A great food and character experience!

Jennifer from Houston, TX is planning her 4 year old daughter’s first trip to Walt Disney World and has made a reservation for Hollywood and Vine. She asked our cuties what her daughter can expect!

Hollywood and Vine: Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios gives guests the opportunity to enjoy a great buffet and meet and dance with beloved Disney Junior Characters.  For fans of Doc McStuffins, this is the place to be!  Doc, Jake, Sofia, and Handy Manny visit each table, so have those cameras and autograph books ready to go.  Disney cast members also lead the children and characters in song and dance periodically throughout the meal.  Jennifer, our children love this experience, and we can’t wait to hear what your daughter thinks about it too!

What is your favorite thing about Disney?

We asked the kiddos what they love about Disney.  Be ready for some cute answers!

So, what do the kids love?  Here are just a few things that keep The Dis Kids coming back to Disney over and over again:

  • Coral Reef Restaurant
  • Indiana Jones
  • Star Wars Ride
  • Race Cars
  • “EPCOT Ball Ride” (Spaceship Earth)
  • Meeting the Characters

And, are we surprised that Elsa made the list too?!
